Once again a ceiling transforms a room.  In this case a Cottage Kitchen, gets a mural on it's ceiling.  I glazed the center of the Trompe L'oeil Ceiling Medallion, then stenciled it.  The faux brushed nickle is painted with metallic paints to match the chandelier.  To see larger photos of this painting go to my blogspot and click on the photo and a larger image will appear. www.lanesenddecorativearts.blogspot.com

As you can see I hand painted the flowers to match the fabric of the window treatments.  Below is a photo of the floral print.
